Over fulfilled plan of fishing in Cabañas
Cabaña,
Mariel, Havana, Cuba -With the purpose of tax more fresh
fish to the food program, the workers of The Fishing Company
of Cabañas located 25 miles northwest from the administrative
center, over fulfilled the plan in January in an 85%. In
the period delivered a total of 14.2 tons over the 20 planned
for the first 30 days of 2010.
This was possible only with five of the seven vessels owned
by the entity and an average of 16 days sea instead of the
20 predicted at each stage. These results indicate the paths
of the efficiency through which the Company is passing.
The greatest contribution was offered by the crew of the
Ferro cement boat 307 that managed to produce 6 tons in
addition to its plan.
Now
on land, the boats are having a preventative maintenance
to ensure their safety and durability. The same is applied
to the fishing tackles before departure. Multiply the amounts
specified for the month of February is the challenge of
the marines of Cabañas.
The
effort is aimed at the gradual increase in the catch of
species of scales, and continuous improvements in efficiency
indicators. In the same way they promote the oyster cultivation
as a major source of foreign exchange earnings. At the same
time encourage the contribution in convertible currency
from the use of shark products.
The
reorganization of the production in processing areas allowed
greater use of the workday. As a result of this the productivity
experimented positive developments and decreased the consumption
rates of energy carriers.
