Angerona Coffee Plantation

Cuban National Monument become the ruins of the old plantation La Angerona is just five and a half kilometers on the highway that goes from the town of Artemisa to the Cayajabos neighborhood, 60 kilometers west of the capital.

The Ruins are launching a challenge to the pass of years and merge with the surrounding countryside where the visitor has the change to appreciate the natural beauty surrounding them.

Historical site recalling the period of slavery stands in the environment dominated by extensive vegetation. So the legend about a love story that emerged there in 1822 between the owner Cornelio Souchay and the beautiful Haitian mulatto Ursula Lambert reborn in the film Oak Odor.
